The 2023 Polka Dots and Pearls Ball and Charity Auction is set to light up the night on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 6 pm – midnight at the Castine Center. It is sure to be an exciting evening to remember. The event will feature a delicious menu cultivated from the Northshore’s most popular restaurants, a silent auction filled with goodies to please every member of the family, and live music sure to get the toes tapping by Groovy 7, guaranteeing you a fun filled night of dancing and memories for you and your friends as you support a great cause.
This year, ALL PROCEEDS from the Silent Auction will be given to our charitable partner, NAMI St. Tammany. NAMI St. Tammany is a non-profit organization that fills the need for education, advocacy, support, and resources for both those in our community with mental illness and their loved ones.
Mental Health has long been a major problem in our community with more that 39% of the population, in Louisiana, experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression. 15% of the population, in St. Tammany alone, suffer persistent mental illness. The Mande Milkshakers seek to help provide supportive services and outreach to these individuals through fundraising events such as the Polka Dots and Pearls Ball. Your support can and will make a difference here.
Mande Milkshakers events have quickly become the place to be as we always bring the party, the energy, and the good times our supporters have come to love. By supporting our Polka Dots and Pearls Ball and Charity Auction, you will benefit through the promotion of our event reaching tens of thousands on social media, and through targeted marketing efforts on television, radio and by our members. Our most common feedback from the public is “You always look like you’re having SO MUCH FUN!” We welcome everyone to join in the good times!

In order to continue our mission of Fun, Friendship, Fitness, and Philanthropy, the Mande Milkshakers will be hosting our 5th Annual Polka Dots and Pearls Ball and Charity Auction, as our capstone fundraising effort of the year.
